The following work is based upon my brother Tom Harmon (1956-1987) and my family .I grew up in an old turn of the century home in St. Louis, Missouri overlooking the Mississippi River .Our home was in our family for over 80 years. At one point my great grandmother, grandparents and my immediate family had lived in it.It is full of memories, echo ing  the adage"if these walls could speak".Tom had lived in a group home and worked in  a sheltered workshop up until his untimely death on July 31,1987.This body of work contains interiors, landscape, portraits and still life objects.Add to my family's angst was my father's blindness having begun in 1981.The work is pastel on paper and oil on canvas  of various sizes. Please refer to my memoir entitled Tom Book listed in the side bar menu.
